Sandy Kathryn Lochmandy

Saundra ""Sandy"" Kathryn Lochmandy, 58, passed away June 3, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 2, 1953, in South Bend, Indiana to Ambrose Paul and Irene Madeline Ciesolka Lochmandy. Sandy had worked in the insurance industry for many years. Her true passion was for writing children's books, a few of which are published. She enjoyed reading her stories out loud in several schools. Crafting was one of her favorite hobbies, especially cross-stitching. Sandy especially loved spending time her Grandchildren and has shared with them many, many fond memories that they will cherish. Sandy is survived by her two children, Casey W. Tuengel, Aurora, CO and Sheila Marie (Robert) Hudnall, Thornton, CO; Grandchildren: Chase, Tristan and Lacie Tuengel; and Blake and Everett Hudnall; siblings: Mary Ellen (Larry) Mitchel, South Bend, IN; Pat (Ron) Hans, South Bend, IN; Christine (Jim) Bushnell, Calhan, CO; Daniel (Angela) Lochmandy, New Hampshire; Kathy Austin, Phoenix, AZ and Penny (Glenn) Moore, Tulsa, OK. A Visitation will be held at Horan & McConaty, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue (at South Parker Road), Aurora, CO on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 5:00-7:00pm.
