Santiago Moncayo

Our beloved Santiago Moncayo passed into God's open arms on Sunday, April 26, 2020 in Denver, Colorado.

Born in Pasto, Colombia, life took him on a journey to Bogotá, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, Cleveland, and finally Denver, his home for the past 14 years. He used his gifts to help others in his career as a dentist. In his path he touched many hearts with his generous spirit, chivalrous attitude, and that wonderful spark in his eye. Every room he entered lit up at his presence and his wonderful smile and sense of humor. Santiago was more than a role model, with wisdom and advice that always seemed right. He inspired every single person he met, his friends, colleagues, neighbors, staff, and patients. He was able to capture how spectacular God's creations are through the lens of his camera: beautiful.

He was the perfect husband, father, and friend.

He is survived by his wife and daughter who will miss him dearly but know to find him in every beautiful view. In sunrises and sunsets. In mountains and clouds. In birds and flowers. In bees and stars. In the wind and the moon. And in the kindness of others.
