CLAYTON, SARA ""SALLY"" LEE Sally, 83, died peacefully in her sleep on July 1, 2009. She was born on September 4, 1925 in Campbellsburg, Kentucky to Bessie and D.F. Lee. Sally was a graduate of the J. M. Atherton High School in Louisville, Kentucky and the University of Arizona, where she was a proud member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She married Dr. Mack Clayton on June 3, 1948. She and Mack lived in Boston before moving to Denver, where she spent the rest of her life. Sally was active in the Denver community, supporting many nonprofits and enjoyed cooking, entertaining, gardening, skiing, golf and tennis. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mack, and is survived by son Jim (Jackie), daughter Lee Clayton Roper (Robert), granddaughter Madeline ""Maddie"", and two step-grandsons, Adam and Jake Roper. Memorial service to be held Thursday, July 9 at noon at Montview Presbyterian Church, 1980 Dahlia Street, Denver, CO. A reception at the Denver Country Club will follow the service.
