Sara A. Williams

February 7, 1964 — December 30, 2015

On Wednesday December 30th, 2015, an intelligent, vivacious and gorgeous, 51 year old, Sara A. Williams passed. Always fashionable dressed, she led a full life of great love and loss. Her early life was filled with the love for her parents, Daniel and Victoria Garza (both deceased). Sara was the fifth child of eight siblings which was at times both joyful and frustrating, Sara shared many wonderful and hilarious adventures with her siblings: Daniel D. Four Thunders, Carrie Garza-Cortinas, Nora Garza (deceased), Irma Marie Garza, Marcos Garza, Leticia A. Garza and Rosenda Garza de Ibanez. Sara embraced her mixed heritage of Native American Indian and Mexican American cultures. Sara was a member of the Comanche Nation and also counts as relatives the Wichita, Chickasaw and Delaware Tribal Nations. In her twenties, Sara and Joel married and later divorced, together they had only one child, their son Keenan, who they deeply loved and adored. The ugly and sad side of chance happened, almost two years ago to the month, Sara and Joel were heartbroken and their lives devastated at the passing of their nineteen year old son Keenan. Although, Sara's life was not all heartbreak; she was a successful histology supervisor and earned a baccalaureate from Regis University. Sara loved reading many genres of novels and was renowned among family members to promote the sciences to all her nieces, nephews and family friends. Sara was notable for always wearing extravagant outfits and distinctive high heels even while globe trekking and hiking. She loved dancing, camping, white water rafting and zip lining. Among family, Sara was celebrated as a connoisseur of food and always brought the most savory and tasty of dishes to family gatherings and parties. Romance was not totally absent from her life when she found love with her significant other, John Smith. Sara and John both enjoyed many laughs and adventurous travels together, which they would share with family and friends. Gatherings with loving family and friends were always a highlight in Sara's life. Our Sister Sara was loved and will be truly missed, Sara's journey will reunite her, with her Father Daniel, Mother Victoria, Sister Nora and Sara's cherished son Keenan, who all have preceded Sara from this physical world to the next. May they all find comfort in each other, until we all meet again. A Celebration of Life and Love for Sara A. Williams will be held at Horan & McConaty Famile Chapel, located at 1091 S.
