Sarah ""Sally"" Dey Sally was born April 18, 1934 to Hugh and Fern Dey of Fort Collins, Colorado. She was a proud Fort Collins High School Lambkin and Colorado State University Ram. Sally earned her Master's Degree at CSU and spent her professional life as an educator and administrator at Red Rocks Community College. She is remembered by her former colleagues and students as a compassionate, supportive woman with a beautiful smile and Irish humor. She was loved by all who knew her. Sally's greatest joy was her family. Mother to Tony, Tim and Tammy; mother-in-law to Cindie, Hang and Bill; grandmother to Alex, Jeremy, Kim, Nat, Lauren, Tori, Caitlin, Colleen, Vince and Nick - she has left a legacy of love and sweetness that will be cherished always. Sally loved classical music, British humor, Autumn in the Poudre Canyon, long phone conversations with her friends, and all things chocolate. Her only regret was that she would not be able to attend the Democratic Convention in Denver this summer. Her family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Lutheran Hospice for the gentle care she received in her final days. And we will forever be grateful to the wonderful staff at Colorado Lutheran Apartments for surrounding her with love and friendship. Per her request, Sally will be cremated and placed into her beloved Poudre River. Donations may be made to Colorado Humane Society in memory of Maggie, or to the charity of your choice.
