Scott T. Davis

July 13, 1959 — March 25, 2018

Age 58, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018. Scott was born July 13, 1959 in Ypsilanti, MI, the son of James T. Davis and Carol Ann (Travis) Davis. Scott loved his childhood in “Ypsi” where he grew up with his brother, Jeffrey Davis, and sister Jamie (Davis) Clingan. Scott will be remembered in Ypsi as captain of all the Ypsi High Sports teams, Quarterback at Eastern Michigan University, but mostly for his hundred-watt smile. In 1987 our favorite Quarterback fell madly in love with the reigning National Aerobic Champion, Donna Zieour. After only a month of dating, this rock star couple were engaged. They married soon after and began living their “happily ever after”. Scott and Donna’s love was a true romance, they made a mundane weekday magical. An image of true love, they could often be found dancing together in the kitchen or holding hands in the car. Together, they raised two beautiful children, “the girls”, Kayla Rae (Davis) Petsch and Kaitlyn Ann Davis. Scott worked for Lockheed Martin for over thirty years, starting with the company in California when it was Martin Marietta. As Scott’s career progressed, he and the family moved to Utah, to Texas, back to California, and eventually to Denver, Colorado. Scott was admired and revered by his employees and peers. His last position was as the Vice President of Global Supply Chain for the Space Systems. Scott was a devoted and active member of the Catholic Church. He loved running and riding his bike as often as possible. Scott’s family was his life. Scott always took time for people and left a mark on everyone he met. Scott was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. He leaves behind his best friend and beloved wife of 30 years, Donna (Zieour) Davis, and his two girls, Kayla (Duell) Petsch, his “punkin head,” and Kaitlyn Ann Davis, his “toontey bunny,” his mother, Carol Ann Davis, his brother Jeffrey (Taci) Davis of Clermont, FL, his sister, Jamie (Rick) Clingan of Boca Raton, FL, and his grand-dog Sola Petsch. Also surviving are his many nieces and nephews who he truly adored: Ashley “Ashy-Modo” Savarick, Blake Clingan, Carly Clingan, Tyler Davis, Haile Zieour, Johnny Zieour, Hannah “Banana” Zieour, Danielle Grovick, Rosey Pullman, Samantha Zieour, Gracie Zieour, Neesan (Randy) Zieour, and Nick Zieour. He was preceded in death by his father, James T. Davis.
