Sean Herbert, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 28, 2024.

Sean was born on December 7, 1965, to Patricia and John Herbert at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado.

Sean graduated from Mullen High School before attending Metropolitan State University of Denver. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1992, belonging to the Golden Key National Honor Society.

In 1998 Sean was blessed with his only child, Emily. He cherished watching her grow up in beautiful Colorado. Sean enjoyed spending time with Emily and her grandma. He was extremely proud of the young woman she has become and loved to hear her stories as a criminal defense attorney.

Sean spent his days watching soccer, striking up conversations in the hallway, and chatting with Emily about her career and family in South Dakota.

Sean is survived by his daughter, Emily (Logan) Herbert, his father John (Katherine) Herbert, and his brother, Jim Herbert.

Sean is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Herbert.

The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Cedar’s for their care and support.
