Sean Patrick Himmelberg, 22, passed away August 2, 2014, in Pueblo, Colorado, from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born April 30, 1992 in St. Louis, Missouri, to David Thomas and Shari Lynn Spangler Himmelberg. Sean has lived in Colorado with his family since 1998. Sean's hobbies included sports, his favorites being football and lacrosse. He played collegiate lacrosse for Adams State University, Alamosa and Colorado State University, Pueblo. Sean worked for Discount Tire Company for four years. Sean spent his spare time supporting the St. Louis Cardinals and the San Diego Chargers, modifying his Subaru WRXs, and listening to many kinds of music, though his favorite was rap music. Sean's best talent was the love and care that he spread to friends, family, and anyone in need. Sean's smile was always infectious. Sean is loved and will be missed by his family and many friends; parents, David and Shari; brother, Kelton; maternal grandparents, Gene and Brenda Spangler, Patricia Steger; paternal grandparents, William and Evelyn Himmelberg; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A viewing for friends and family will be held at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue (at Parker Road and Dartmouth), in Aurora, on Friday, August 8, 2014, from 9:00am-12Noon. A memorial service will then be held at Peace with Christ Lutheran Church, 3290 S. Tower Road (south of Iliff on Tower Rd), in Aurora, on Friday, August 8, 2014, at 1:00pm.
