Shannon Lee Beardemphl, Age 51, passed away on November 4th 2022 in the presence of loving family. She was a graduate of Arvada High School. She spent time on the Metro State campus after being awarded the Presidential Gold Scholarship. She was a Colorado native having lived here her entire life. Shannon enjoyed a very successful career in leadership earning many awards, accolades, and friends.
Shannon enjoyed spending time at home with her family and many long hours of laughter with friends. The holidays were her favorite time of year especially Christmas Eve and she began the planning each year in July.
Shannon was extremely artistic, gifted, and mechanically inclined. Whether it was decorating her home, creating beautiful art projects, remodeling or taking something apart for the fun of putting it back together again, Shannon excelled.
She was an avid reader. She enjoyed quiet nights at home watching movies and chatting away with her husband. Her home was her sanctuary and it welcomed everyone who entered. Many nights over the years were spent enjoying the company of her valued friends and filling her home with laughter. The little things of life she valued the most such as private conversations with her son, time spent with her son's friends, and time spent with her and Jason's friends. She possessed the unique ability to genuinely care about anyone and listen to anyone who needed a friend, needed some guidance, or simply needed to be heard.
Shannon is survived by her husband Jason Tammen, her son Alexander Beardemphl, and special mention of Andrew Bernklau who is like a brother to Alex. her mother Stephanie Gelt, Alexander's father Joseph Beardemphl (Beko), her Aunt Jamie and Uncle Joe Kordziel and cousins Steven Kordziel (Jess) and Scott Kordziel, her mother-in-law Cheri Weeks, her step father-in-law Doyle Weeks, her father-in-law Larry Tammen and step mother-in-law Katherine Tammen. Her brother-in-law Jeff Tammen (Crystal) and step brother-in-law Patrick. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father Micheal Antonucci.
A Memorial Service honoring Shannon's life will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 2:00PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado. A reception will follow at the Horan & McConaty reception center.
