Shari Lynn Doherty was born September 7, 1949 in Denver to Arch and Mary Jane McIntyre. Shari has four sons. She graduated from Englewood Beauty College and had a manicuring business in Breckenridge for several years before returning to Denver to care for her parents. She married Kevin (Doherty) on Friday the 13th in December of 1991.
Shari worked for Total Petroleum until they ceased operations in Denver, then began working for Home Depot in April of 1996. Affectionately known by many as âThe Blind Ladyâ, she was a Decor Specialist who excelled at custom ordering blinds for many of her customers. She left Home Depot in October of 2010 after they changed their ordering system and she had trouble learning the new approach.
Some of Shariâs hobbies include cooking, gardening, and traveling. She has been to Paris, Costa Rica, Hawaii, at least 4 different resort areas in Mexico, and on a Western Caribbean cruise.
Shari was preceded in death by her parents and her eldest brother Lanny. Survivors include her brother Michael (Anita) McIntyre, her husband Kevin, and her four sons Matthew, Kelcey, Troy, and Christopher; seven grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, July 23rd at New Hope Community Church 17699 E. Hampden Ave. Aurora CO 80013. Reception to follow at the church.
