Parker

Sharon Ellen Coleman, age 77, died at Pine Grove Crossing in Parker, CO on January 17, 2021.

Born June 9, 1943 in Monte Vista, CO, Sharon lived in Center, Alamosa and Aurora Colorado and worked at Adams State College, for the State of Colorado, for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and Cattle Fax until retirement.

During her life, Sharon was known for her love of music and shared that gift with many students, fellow band members, friends and family as she played an unmeasurable number of hours on the piano.  She lived to be part of whatever activities her grandchildren had going on and made sure she attended everything she could fit into her schedule.  She was a bright light to everyone who knew her.

Survivors include sons Mike (Karri) and Steve (Brooke), grandchildren Emily (Agustin), Philip, Taylor and Charlie and sisters Mary and Lynda.  Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Howard, her parents Evan and Josie and by brothers William, Ronald and sister Evelyn.

Services will be held at 11am January 26th at Horan & McConaty 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue Aurora, CO  80014.  Burial will be at the Alamosa Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Colorado Chapter, 455 Sherman St., Suite 500, Denver, CO 80203. Details can be found below.
