Sharon K. Frohne

70, of Roxborough Park, Colorado. Sharon passed away peacefully after a year-long battle with cancer on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Porter Hospice in Littleton, Colorado. She was born to Vince and Anita Zimmer on December 15, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Vince and Anita Zimmer; her step-son, Kyle; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 30 wonderful years, Jim Frohne; her daughter, Tina (C.G) Patterson; her step-son, Alex (Jackie) Frohne; and her step-daughter, Erica (John) Conner; her brother, Richard (Jackie) Zimmer; and sister, Debbie (David) Tomczyk; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Sharon's early employment included working at a theater in Grand Junction, Colorado followed by employment as an auto claims adjuster. After her transfer to Denver, she accepted a position with an employee benefits consulting firm and soon was promoted to office manager; a position which she held for a number of years. Her departure from 9-5 employment led to a long and very successful career in real estate. Sharon left real estate to care for her mother for several years and was her mother's caregiver through her final illness. Sharon and Jim spent several years traveling the US by car, and enjoyed river and ocean cruises in Europe, the Pacific; as well as trips to Alaska, Hawaii, and the Panama Canal.

Sharon will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at ten-thirty in the morning at St. Mark Catholic Church, 9905 Foothills Canyon Boulevard, Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The family will receive guests just before the service.
