Sharon Dannette (Rogers) Rankin passed away on October 25, 2021, in her daughter Chris's home in North Platte Nebraska.
Sharon was born on May 29, 1942 to Mary Luella (Welbourne) and Cletus Turner Rogers in Alamosa Colorado.
She married Norman Leland Rankin on May 13, 1961, in Alamosa Colorado.
Sharon is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Rankin, Chris (Harold) Matson; one grandson, Trevor Matson;
one step-granddaughter, Ashleigh Matson; three brothers, Stephen (Kadi) Rogers, Barry (Julye) Rogers and
Kirk (Lori) Rogers; two sisters, Gayle (Harold) Lewis, Peggy (Carl) Dunn; brother-in-law, Warren (Deanna) Rankin
as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins, all of whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by Norman in 2019, her mother Mary in 1985, and her father in 2010.
Sharon is missed dearly by those left behind. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
