Sharon Rogers

Sharon E. Rogers, age 85, passed unexpectedly on March 15, 2022. Sharon was born in Hanna, Wyoming and was the youngest of four daughters born to William (Red) and Jessie Hapgood. She graduated from Hanna High School in 1954 and starting working at Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph in Rawlins, Wyoming right after graduating.  Sharon moved to Lakewood, Colorado in 1957 and welcomed her son, Bill in 1961. She continued working for what became US West for 36 years before retiring in 1990. Sharon spent her time after retiring doing crafts and enjoyed watching children in her home. She was always close with her sisters and brothers-in-laws and treasured spending time with her many nieces and nephews and their families. She was a member of the Our Lady of Fatima parish for almost 45 years. Sharon touched so many people’s lives in many ways and will be greatly missed.

To honor Sharon's life the family invites everyone to a visitation on March 23rd, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Horan & McConaty 3020 Federal Blvd., Denver, Colorado 80211. Following the visitation please join us in the Recitation of the Rosary. On Thursday March 24th, 2022 a Mass will be help at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima, 1985 Miller St., Lakewood, CO 80215. Burial will take place at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery following Mass.
