Sharon Terese (Bradley) Stephens was born in Denver Colorado at St. Joseph's Hospital on September 20, 1931. She attended St. Philomena's School and graduated from St. Francis de Sales High School in 1949. She also attended the University of Denver. She was a ballerina in her youth and danced for the Colorado Ballet. She worked for the phone company (Mountain Bell) as a young woman then met Gerald Stephens (deceased) at a dance at the Cathedral Club and they were married on October 9, 1954. She went on to raise nine children, Mary Lu Stephens, Gerard Stephens, Daniel Stephens (deceased), Rose Williams (Duff Williams), Louis Stephens (Carol Stephens), Joseph Stephens (Valerie Stephens), Andrew Stephens, Pierre Stephens, and Mimi Stephens. She also has 15 grandchildren, Louis Stephens (Andrea Stephens), Justin Stephens (Belinda Stephens), Eric Stephens (Anna Stephens), Allison Gubanich (Nathan Gubanich), Benjamin Stephens (Crystal), Nicole Bastian (Kurtis Bastian), Kaleb Stephens, Christopher Stephens, Daniel Stephens, Benjamin LeDoux (Rachel LeDoux), Lacey Stephens, Jacob Vigil, Ethan Vigil and Jessica Vigil as well as 15 great grandchildren, Brianna Stephens Bastian, Isaiah Stephens, Alauna Stephens, Jeremiah Stephens, Audrey Stephens, Aden Gonzales, Elias Stephens, Ava Stephens, Lily Gubanich, Annabelle Gubanich, Madilyn Gubanich, Isabelle LeDoux, Tristan LeDoux, Kaiden Bastian and Kyla Vigil. She spent her entire life in Denver and her final years were spent at The Ladies Relief Society (The Argyle) where she passed away on December 8, 2016. A visitation will be held in her honor on Monday, December 12th at Six thirty in the Evening, followed by the recitation of the rosary at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7595 Federal Boulevard in Westminster. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 13th at Ten O'clock in the Morning, also at Holy Trinity.
