Sharrene R. Lazar, beloved wife of James Lazar for 58 years, died peacefully on March 29th, 2021 at the age of 76. She was born in Colorado on August 8th, 1944 and lived in Lakewood throughout her life. She graduated from Alameda High School in 1962. Sharrene loved spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and visiting casinos amongst numerous other hobbies. During her career with the Federal Government, Sharrene made many close friends whom she kept in touch with, even after her retirement.
Sharrene is survived by her children Denise, Jimmy, and Michael (Beth); grandchildren Sam, Michael, Christopher, and Brady; sisters Betty and Mardee; and brother Randy.
She touched many lives and will be missed by all.

A Visitation will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 from 2:00pm to 7:00pm at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in the Family Chapel.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 10:00am at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in the Family Chapel.
Current Health restrictions limit the number of people inside at a time to 100.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sharrene's name to the American Cancer Society.
