Shawn Snyder

Our beloved Shawn Michael Snyder, 51, born May 10, 1970 in Coatesville, PA, passed away on Jan. 7, 2022.  Survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Janelle Snyder; children Cole and Alexa.  Preceded in his death by his father, Joseph Snyder.  Also survived by mother, Wanda Nelms, sister Kelly Chang, brother, Kevin Snyder, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law who all loved him.  Shawn graduated from Coatesville High in Pennsylvania in 1988 and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992.  Shawn was a successful salesman and a 26-year veteran in the document management industry working for Copy Concepts, Toshiba Business Solutions, Copy Vend, Lewan and All Copy Products in Denver.  He earned many awards and President’s Club trips taking his wife, Janelle to many vacation destinations. He was a Food For Thought volunteer packing and delivering meals to local elementary schools.  His priority was his family and worked hard to move them into a new home, take family vacations, support daughter, Alexa in her gymnastics and son, Cole with his swimming.  He had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to joke with family and friends and could light up a room with his smile and laughter.  He was a passionate Philadelphia Eagles and PITT football fan, loved playing fantasy football and going to Rockies games with his family.  He enjoyed going to sports bars, going out to dinner with friends and watching the Broncos at the stadium.  He was caring, loving, thoughtful, and fun to be with.  He was the greatest husband and father anyone could ask for.  Shawn will be forever missed and loved by his family and friends.  The family would like to thank their neighbors, friends, and extended families for their cards, food and support.  Especially, the family thanks the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and First Responders, Southeast Christian Church and Horan & McConaty for all of their support and services.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association.

A Celebration of Life is prepared for Shawn at 10 a.m., Monday, January 24 at Southeast Christian Church, 9650 Jordan Rd. in Parker with a reception to follow.
