It is with a heavy heart to announce that Sheila Ann Eaton, 68, of Denver, CO and Phoenix, AZ peacefully passed away on March 20th, 2021 while surrounded by family.
Sheila was born October 6th, 1952 to David D. Leahy and Maureen Sullivan Leahy in Wichita, KS. She graduated from Mount Carmel High School in 1970. She went to X-Ray Technician School at St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita, KS and began working there following her education. She married Jim Eaton, her high school sweetheart, on January 24th, 1976. The following day she packed up her Ford Mustang with a U-Haul attached and moved to Denver, CO to be with Jim. She continued her career until her calling as a mother came into being. All who knew Sheila, knows she lived for her children. Daughters Stephanie, Jamie, and son Billy were the center of her universe, until the grandchildren arrived. If there was anything she was better suited for in life, other than being a mother, it was being a grandmother, affectionately known as "She She." "She She" will live eternally in their hearts.
Sheila loved playing bridge with her girlfriends, cooking for family, and loved to travel "very" well. She wanted everyone together on holidays and family vacations. The world was certainly brighter because of her and she will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Sheila was preceded in death by sisters Diane Gough, Maureen Leahy, mother Maureen and father David Leahy. She is adored, cherished, and loved by husband Jim Eaton, daughter Stephanie (Joe) McNaughton, son Billy (Neda) Eaton, daughter Jamie (Mark) Clifton, grandchildren Gavin, Kyra, Charlie, Harper and Carter (baby Nixon Dean is on the way!), brother David (J'Dena) Leahy, Carol (Tom) Helms, Colleen (Pat) Malone, Greg Gough, and many others.
