Sheila Williams Smith, 69, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado, surrounded by family.
She was born October 24, 1955, in San Pedro, California to Milton Williams and Shirley DeLong and married the love of her life, Thomas Smith, in August 1979. The couple later welcomed three sons into their family.
She attended Brigham Young University and was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She took great pride in her church callings and temple work over the years. Above all, her greatest joy was in her calling as a homemaker, where she was a loving wife and mother.
Known for her warm smile and infectious laugh, her kindness and positive spirit made everyone she encountered feel special and loved. Her passion for thrifting and attending craft fairs was well-known, and she loved sharing her latest finds – especially her collection of chickens and quirky trinkets – with family and friends.
She is survived by her three sons, Russell, Jeffrey (wife, Sarah), and Dean, as well as two grandchildren, Charlotte and Liam, all of the Denver area.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Smith; her parents, Milton Williams and Shirley DeLong; and her brothers, Brad and Greg Williams.
