Sherry Gay Wood

Sherry Gay Wood 78 born May 8, 1939 in Odessa Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of January 24, 2017. She is survived by Ron her husband of 35 years, her two sons Paul and Tim and spouse Sarah, half-brother John Stafford and her beloved grandchildren Jordan and Savannah. Sherry's life passion was her love for her Arabian horses which she and her husband raised and bred. She was a member and practitioner at Mile High Church of religious science which became a very important part of her life. She loved all God's creatures and enjoyed the company of her dogs and cats. Sherry enjoyed being around family and looked forward to all the get-together's and the celebrations, whether it be Thanksgiving or a night out with the family she always looked forward to socializing and enjoying the company of loved ones. Sherry had a zest for life and had a positive outlook and warm regards for everyone. The family requests that any donations be made to their local chapter of the American Humane Society.
