Shirley Ashlock

Shirley Ashlock was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She passed away peacefully on March 15th, 2022, at the age of 86.

She was born in Denver, Colorado on December 30, 1935.  After graduating from Golden High School, Shirley had an exemplary career for over thirty years at the Colorado School of Mines while raising a family.

Shirley loved spending time with family and friends telling stories of her daily events and life adventures.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Terrie (Kenny) Parker; grandchildren, Ranie (Clark) Gentry, and Ryan Kirby; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Virginia (George) Hansen.

A Memorial Service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 17701 W. 16th Avenue, Golden, Colorado on Friday March 25, 2022, at 10:30am.  A reception to follow immediately afterwards.

Interment will be with her husband Jack at Fort Logan National Cemetery on April 11, 2022, at 11:00 am.
