Shirley Conant passed away peacefully on December 25, 2021, in Aurora, Colorado.
She was born on March 26, 1934, in Brookline MA, the daughter of Frank & Eleanor Conant.
She grew up in Massachusetts and then attended Bryn Mawr College and Simmons University. Shirley got her master's degree in Library Science and was a Children's Librarian for the New York Public Library on Staten Island for many years. She enjoyed travelling, reading, riding horses, playing the violin and time with family. Later in life, she moved back to Massachusetts. Shirley lived there until moving to Colorado 10 years ago to be closer to family.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Alice Robke (David); Granddaughters, Sarah (Sam) & Jenny (Jacob); Grandson, Scott; & Great-Grandson, Caleb.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Eleanor Conant, & brother, Robert.
Shirley lived at Shalom Park for the last 10 years. She enjoyed many activities there especially Exercise and Trivia, singing in the choir, the Catholic services and visits to the horse ranch. Shirley also enjoyed frequent games of Rummikub, visiting in the garden and outings with her family.
The wonderful care partners, elders and volunteers of Shalom Park truly enriched Shirley's life while there. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Shirley to
