Shirley J. Gallagher

Shirley Gallagher, passed away on February 3, 2018 at age 84 in Denver, CO. Shirley Jean Clemens Gallagher was born in Pueblo, CO on Jan. 24, 1934. She was the daughter of Frank and Mildred Clemens. She married her high school sweetheart Robert Richard Gallagher, Jr., son of Robert and Martha Gallagher, on March 22, 1953. Bob and Shirley were married for 61 years, and for most of their lives, resided in Greenwood Village. They had two children, Sean Robert Gallagher and Maureen Elaine Wilkinson. An indomitable force, Shirley was a three-time cancer survivor. She is survived by her children, as well as Sean’s wife Lisa Gallagher and their children Rory, Caitlin and Griffin, and by Maureen’s children Hale, Zane and Emmet. She was preceded in death by her husband, her mother and father, and her sisters Barbara Pearson and Maurine Mihalco. Memorial Service will be Mon. 2/12 1:00pm, Wellshire Presbyterian Church, 2999 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO. Private interment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
