Shirley Heinz

Shirley Jean Heinz, 89, of Arvada, entered into Heaven on December 14, 2020 from Arbor View Nursing Home. She was born to William and Adelia Eggeling on February 27, 1931 in Denver, Colorado.

Shirley attended Manual High School and was Head Girl in her graduating class of 1948. She worked as a receptionist in the medical field for many years.

She enjoyed watching football, was an avid Broncos fan, and loved spending time with family and friends.

She will be remembered for her generosity and dedication to her family, her kind and selfless nature, and her witty phrases and humor.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Burzee and her husband, Herb; her granddaughter, Misty (her s/o, Travis); two great-grandchildren, Noelle and Dylan, and two nephews, Bruce Taylor (his wife, Denise) and Dwayne Taylor.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Wayne, and sister, Betty.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 14, 2021 at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 5675 Field St, Arvada, CO 80002.
