Shirley Ingersoll

Shirley A. Ingersoll, age 81, of Arvada CO. was called home by our Lord and Savior on July 29, 2022. Often referred to as ‘such a sweet person’, Shirley had a heart committed to her Christian walk, and her passion for serving the youth. Shirley was an active participant with the youth ministry at Centerpoint Community Church, an in-home foster mom, a decade’s long child sponsor with Compassion International, a donor to Veteran’s services as well as other charitable organizations.

Born in Los Angeles, CA. to Naomi and Cecil Barker, Shirley moved to Colorado in her early adult years where she married James Ingersoll. Shirley has three children, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Jim, Shirley will be interned with him at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
