Shirley Ligrani, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 16th, 2023, at the age of 87. Born on August 20th, 1935, Shirley led a life filled with love, warmth, and cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
In her younger years, she met and fell in love with Anthony Gerald Ligrani, and their union was a testament to their unbreakable bond. Although Anthony has preceded her in death, their love story continues in the hearts of their children: Jerry (Tammi), Chantel (Rocky Sr.), and Briana (Devin).
Shirley's legacy extended beyond her immediate family, embracing her role as a grandmother with open arms. Her grandchildren – Rocky Jr., Gianna, Anthony, Angelina, Adriana, and Brody – were the apple of her eye. She reveled in their laughter, watched them grow with pride, and showered them with love, creating unforgettable memories that will forever shape their lives.
A service to honor Shirley's life will be held on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, located at 3549 Navajo St, Denver, CO 80211. The Rosary will commence at 10:00 AM, followed by Mass at 10:30 AM. Shirley's final resting place will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
