Shirley McCullough

Shirley A. McCullough, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away on December 9, 2018.

Shirley worked as a nurse helping many people over the years in various health care settings. After she retired her caring heart continued to shine on her family, friends, and the many small pets with whom she shared her love.

During her free time Shirley pursued her love of painting in oils and water colors and loved being a part of the Wheat Ridge Art League and contributing works for their shows.

In her later years when it was her turn to be cared for by others Shirley touched many people with her kind nature and her strength facing too many health problems.

She is preceded in passing by her parents John and Mary.

She is survived by her loving companion Frank, her sons John and Robert, her brother James, and her sister Cynthia.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 6:00 PM, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227. A Funeral Mass honoring Shirley will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 1985 Miller Street, Lakewood, Colorado 80215.
