Shirley Ann Mott

April 18, 1926 — March 7, 2013

Shirley Ann Mott was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on April 18, 1926. She passed away March 7, 2013 while residing in Aurora, Colorado. Shirley attended grade school in Greybull, WY, Mount St. Gertrude High School and University of Denver. She worked for national defense companies in Denver during WWII, then established an oil business accounting service. From 1966 to 1970 she worked for US Senator Peter Dominick in Washington D.C. In 1975 she became a real estate agent and was active until her passing. She was a dedicated member of Kappa Delta, DU alumni, Denver Chapter NSDAR, Graphoanaysis Society, PEO, Cherry Creek Republican Women, Aurora Republican Women, Mt. Vernon Country Club, Silverado Club, and Church of the Risen Christ. She is survived by her cousins John, David and Stan Flitner, Pat Flitner Novak, Bill and Ed Reilly, their spouses and children. Services will be held on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 10:00 am at Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 South Monaco, Denver, Colorado, 80222. Reception to follow at the church. Memorial donations in Shirley's memory may be made payable to the University of Denver, for the benefit of the James J and Jean B Johnston Scholarship, PO Box 910585, Denver, CO 80291-0585.
