Shirley Mae Schmuki

Shirley Mae Schmuki was born in Calgary Alberta Canada on October 10th 1928 and died on July 2, 2015 in Westminster Colorado. Shirley was the daughter of Hugh and Louise Stephenson. She had five brothers; Gordon, Bill, Ron, Gary and Brent. Shirley started her working career at 16 selling popcorn at a drugstore, after graduating from high school she worked for the telephone company. She married Tony Schmuki on November 10th 1947. Then came their children; Randy, Tom and TIna. When Tina was 14 Shirley went to work as a secretary for J.C. Penney's. She retired as a private secretary in 1982. Shirley had a passion for music and genealogy. Besides her husband Tony, Shirley is survived by her brother Brent Stephenson and his wife Johanna; Her children Randy Schmuki and his wife Kim, Her son Tom Schmuki and his wife Tammie and her daughter Tina Hagen. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6490 Quail St. Arvada, Colorado. The Interment will follow the Funeral Service at 1:30PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.
