Shirley Ann Scott, age 80, passed away on July 02, 2016 from natural causes. Shirley was born on December 17, 1935 to Texal and Bernice Glazebrook in St. Louis Mo. She moved to Aurora, Colorado as a teenager, graduated from Aurora Central High School and Aurora was her hometown ever since. Shirley was married three times, Walter Thomas (Tom) Kyle, Jerry Zwiers (Deceased) and Walter Scott (Deceased). Each marriage brought a special kind of love and adventure to her life. Shirley was a life long Bronco fan and loved watching her Rockies play. She lead an active lifestyle that included world travel, square dancing and decades of league bowling. Throughout her life she was active in the community, volunteering for Meals on Wheels, Friends of Aurora Public Library and The Shrine Circus. She was also a member of the Shirley Club. She also worked in retail sales and for 10years as an Optometrist Assistant. Shirley is survived by three sons, Texal Kyle, San Antonio, Tx, Timothy Kyle and Todd Kyle, Aurora, Co. and six grandchildren, Joshua, Colbi, Joseph, Amanda, Ryan and Maria. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July15, 2016 at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 11148 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora, Co. in the HeartLight Reception Center. She will then be laid to rest in the Rocky Mountain Memorial Park in a private family ceremony.
