Shirley W. Swarn

Shirley Winifred Swarn, age 64, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at home. She was born May 22, 1950 in Flint, Michigan, to the late Walter F. Smith II and Georgia (nee Ousley) Smith. Shirley married Terry Leo Swarn on July 8, 1972 in her hometown Flint. Shirley was so proud of being an amazing wife, loving mother, and a joy to everyone she met. She took great pride working as a Retail Merchandise Manager for Acosta, Inc. Shirley is survived by her husband Terry of 42 years, daughter Alissa Nicole ""Nikki"" Swarn of Colorado; son, Bryan Marcus (Nicole) Swarn of Georgia; two sisters, Beverley Smith of Michigan and Bennie (Wayne) Brown-Branch of Minnesota, and extended family members and friends, all who love her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Walter Smith III and sister-in-law, Ruby Farmer. Viewing is Sunday, March 8th from 1pm to 4pm and Funeral Service is Monday, March 9th at 2pm.
