Siegfried Frommelt

Siegfried G. ""Siggy"" Frommelt, February 16, 1936 – April 1, 2010 was born in Lauban, Germany to Berta Auguste Frommelt and Paul Erich Frommelt. In July of 1957 he married the love of his life, Hedwig Gebelein and to this union were born two children. In 1962 he immigrated to the United States with his family and the family became citizens in 1971. Siggy was a master machinist and built his own machine shop, FS Machining in 1981. He was active in the National Tooling and Machinist Association and was a past member of the Schlaraffia German group. He spent his spare time traveling and loved spending time in Maui, Hawaii with his wife. He was also an avid fisherman and a skier. He is survived by his wife, Hedwig Frommelt, two children Petra (Brad) Walcher of Centennial, Colorado and Benjamin Albert (Heather) Frommelt of Centennial, Colorado. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Amanda N. Sinclair of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Bradley J. Walcher, Jr. of Centennial, Colorado, Amalia R. Frommelt of Centennial, Colorado and William J. Frommelt of Centennial, Colorado. Additionally, he is survived by one sister, Christa E. Ihly of Denver, Colorado. His parents and brother, Werner Frommelt, preceded him in death. A Memorial Service for Siggy will be held on Thursday, April 8th, 2010 at 2:00 in the afternoon at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., in Lakewood.
