Skyler Nicole ""Nikki"" Hamilton of Arvada, Colorado passed away on November 6, 2016, at age of 17. Skyler was born on Thanksgiving Day on Eglin Air Force Base, Florida to Erin Simpson and Randall Hamilton. Skyler was a bright, aspiring author who enjoyed writing supernatural stories. She had a deep love for animals, including her furry family, her dog Ginger, and many ferrets. She enjoyed spending most of her time with her many friends, hanging out at parks, carnivals, movies and music most of all. She is survived by her mother, Erin Simpson; father, Randall Hamilton and step-mother, Lara Hamilton; sister, Marlee Hamilton; step-sister, Bailey Arnett; step-brother, Tanner Hamilton; paternal grandmother, Jennifer Hamilton; maternal grandfather, Walter Orzolick and step-grandmother Kay Orzolick; among many other extended relatives and friends in many parts of the world. A Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 beginning at 6:00 PM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7:00 PM both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado 80003.
