Socorro "Suki" Bivins

Socorro “Suki” Bivins, age 84, passed away on July 20th from pulmonary complications.

Suki was born and raised in New York, where she resided and worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, until she married in 1962. She became an Air Force wife from 1962 until 1978 when her husband retired and they settled in Colorado and moved to Denver.  She loved to travel, work with crafts and most of all to have family and friends around her

She is survived by husband Don R. Bivins of 58 years, sister Rae Kelly, daughters Donna Bivins, Debra Bierschenk, and daughter-in-law Ronda Bivins.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher and Ryan Bierschenk, Matthew Bivins, Amanda Hay, Zachary Sare and her great-grandchildren Evelynn Hay, Isabel Comnenoi and Magdalena Sare. She was also preceded in death by her son Don M. Bivins.
