Sohrab Amini, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Sohrab Amini 96, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017. Dr. Amini was a selfless individual, caring for and saving many lives over the years as a general surgeon. He also utilized his medical skills serving as a captain in the United States Army Medical Corps during the 1950s. Dr. Amini had a deep love for his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Dr. Amini is survived by his children, Gordon (Candace) Amini, Christine (Neil Ross) Amini, Nancy Amini, Margaret Amini, Katherine (Paul) Hoff, Carol (Will) Ashman; grandchildren, Allison (Bryan) Timberlake, Margaret Mariella, Holly Mariella, Andrew Dus, Evan Dus, Laura Dus, Nicholas Ashman, Christopher Ashman, Dustin (Janna) Ross, Evan (Maggie) Ross; great-grandchildren Reed Timberlake, Lauren Timberlake, and Samuel Timberlake; sibling, Aghileh Amini; nieces & nephews, Mansureh Amini, Junis Amini, Rex Amini, Sue Minor, Ron Mansoureh Amini, Michael Amini, Susann Fortuna, Firouzeh Oliai, Koorosh Olyai, Farhad Heshmati, and Mozhgan Heshmati. Dr. Amini is preceded in death by his parents Mahmoud and Batool Amini and his wife Hannah Roberts Amini. A Celebration of Life for Dr. Amini will be held in his memory on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Inverness Hotel & Conference Center, 200 Inverness Drive West, Englewood, CO 80112.
