Stacy Diane Christner was born in Denver, CO on May 4, 1941 and passed away in Englewood, CO on July 5, 2018. She was raised on her father's dairy farm in Evergreen, Colorado and married Neil Wesley Christner on June 9, 1957. Stacy and Neil had three sons.
Stacy and Neil lived in Albuquerque, NM, Lakewood, CO and Conifer, CO before settling in Larkspur, CO where Stacy lived out her dream of raising horses and her three boys. After divorce in 1982, Stacy moved to Castle Rock, CO where she lived until her untimely death.
Stacy worked for Safeway for 25 years before retiring in 2005. She enjoyed spending time with her sons and their families and had a strong passion for Rockies baseball, Pro bull riding and NASCAR.
Stacy Christner is survived by her two sisters Mary & (Arthur) Velarde and Cindy & (Jim) Groce; her two brothers Dave & (Gail) Wilson and Danny & (Candy) Wilson; her three sons Mitch & (Denise), Morrie & (Lisa) and Monty & (Oly); grandchildren Michael & (Brittney) Joslin, Regan & (Donavon) Cordova, Trent Christner, Tara & (James) Christner-Plymale, Trevor Christner & Ethan Christner, step grandson Donald Gavin; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Stacy was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Ruth Wilson, her sisters Tina Rhodes, Teresa Gray, Ann Juntunen and her grandson Rory Christner. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Castle Rock, CO July 21st at 9AM followed by a graveside service at Bear Canon Cemetery in Sedalia, CO.
