Stanley W. Fisher

Stanley W. Fisher died peacefully at home on September 3, 2015 in Larkspur, Colorado at the age of 86. Stanley is survived by his wife of 63 years Dorothy A. Fisher 83, His son Michael S. Fisher 52 and daughter Susan T. Fisher 57. Stanley was born on January 1st 1929 in Mt. Kisco, New York to Grover and Evelyn Fisher. Stanley served aboard the USS Missouri (BB-63) during the Korean War. Stanley married Dorothy after the war and moved to Cross River, New York to start a family. Stanley worked as a mechanic for 30 years and moved to Colorado when he retired in 1987. A funeral is scheduled for September 14, 2015 at Horan and McConaty funeral home, 5303 E. County Line Rd. Centennial, Co 80122. Viewing at 10:00 am, Service at 11:00, Funeral at Ft Logan National Cemetery at 1:15 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Stanley's life. The family requests that flowers are not sent but to make a donation in Stanley's name to the U.S.S Missouri Memorial.
