Stanley Edward Jones, age 71, passed away peacefully in his home in Broomfield, CO, on March 8, 2025.  Born in Aurora, CO, on October 25, 1953, to Leroy and Irene Jones, Stan lived a life full of adventure, kindness, and dedication to those he loved.

Stan proudly served in the United States Navy, where he was stationed at Pearl Harbor.  After completing his military service, he earned his degree from Metro State College in Denver.  He went on to build a successful career as an insurance salesman before retiring in 2009. 

Stan found great joy in climbing Colorado's "fourteeners" alongside his beloved wife, Lynne Wright.  He also had a passion for handball and was always up for a competitive game of cards.  Above all, he will be remembered for his sharp sense of humor, generous spirit, and unwavering kindness to everyone he met.

Stan is survived by his loving wife, Lynne, two sisters, as well as several nieces, a nephew, cousins, and many cherished friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Steve.

A ceremony honoring Stan's life will be held on March 28, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery.  His warmth, laughter, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
