Stephanie Demott Devries

Stephanie was born on August 25th, 1969 to two wonderful parents Paul and Angela DeMott. She was the oldest out of three siblings, brother Joey DeMott and Julie Ray. She grew up in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, where she’d graduate high school in 1987. During her college years, she began working at her beloved family restaurant, Pietra’s Pizzeria. She graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver in the early 90’s.

On April 6th, 2002, she married her best friend, Chad DeVries, and became a mother on June 16th 2003 to Anthony DeVries. Four years later, she brought another child into the world in her daughter, Lizzie DeVries, on September 10th, 2007.

In 2012, her father, Paul DeMott officially retired, turning the business over to Julie, Joey and Stephanie, where Steph spent most of her time. Stephanie is loved by so many, including Julie’s family of Phil, Vinny, Nicky and Jolie Ray. Joey’s family of Bernadette, Angelo and Eva DeMott. Her in-laws, Dick and Diane DeVries, Chad’s parents. Trisha, Louis, Brooke and Tyler Krapes. Amanda and Cali DeVries and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Not to mention the countless other souls she touched in her 52 year journey.

She passed away to fly with the angels on June 15th 2022. Her big beautiful smile will always be missed but her happy and excitable energy will always be felt by all her family and friends. This is not goodbye, not even see you later, because she will always be with us.

A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday June 28, 2022 7pm at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard Denver CO 80211.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday June 29, 2022 11am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church 3549 Navajo St, Denver, CO 80211.
