Stephen Brand

Stephen Philip Brand was born July 24, 1967 at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, Missouri and moved to Denver with his parents in 1969. He was joined by his brother David in June, 1970. The family lived in what is now Centennial, and Steve attended Littleton Schools, graduating from Arapahoe High School in 1985. He then attended Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, where he made many friends and studied Russian and World History. After graduating in 1989, he lived in Portland for about 10 years before returning to Denver.

His friends and family remember Steve as a kind and gentle soul, with an active wit. He loved reading and music, and both brought joy to his life.

Steve is survived by his parents Kathleen and Howard, and his brother David.
