Stephen Mark Pollock

June 16, 1954 — December 25, 2012

Stephen Mark Pollock was born June 16, 1954 in Central Falls, Rhode Island to Kenneth Truman Pollock and Beverly Ann Seymour. He was raised in Taunton, Massachusetts. Steve was a dedicated, hard-working man at a very young age which carried through his entire life. He worked during High School in order to pay for his private education at Coyle-Cassidy in Massachusetts. He loved sports, math, friendships and taught himself to play the guitar. Music was as important to him as his work ethic. He attended college at Lowell Tech and earned a Civil Engineering Degree. After college, he began his career selling electronics in New England. In addition, he continued to play the guitar and sing, eventually creating a duo band named Full Sail with Chris where they performed for 8 years. His specialty areas of music were songs from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. He could name any tune with the playing of a few chords. He was an accomplished guitarist and banjo player. In 1987, he began his career in Colorado as a manufacturer's representative with Cain Technologies and eventually bought the business covering both Colorado and Utah as Cain-Pollock, Inc. He loved his colleagues and built multiple lasting relationships. He did not consider it work…just fun with his friends. He loved his wife Teri Ann Pollock and daughter, Sara Elizabeth Pollock with his extraordinary large heart and embraced his 3 stepchildren Katie, Austin, and Matt. He is also survived siblings Gregory S. Pollock, Robin L. Parsons, Kimberly A. Pollock; and uncles Richard Seymour and Stuart (Patricia) Pollock. He was a giver in this world of takers and thought by all to be a very special person. Steve knew no stranger. His endearing smile, warm handshake, and genuine interest drew you into his life forever. He lost his battle to Multiple Myeloma after a valiant fight on Christmas Day 2012. He never gave up and always had a positive attitude enduring many struggles and complications. His mantra, PMA (Positive Mental Attitude), was admired by all and became an inspiration to many. His outgoing nature, witty sense of humor, and mere friendliness is imprinted on many heavy hearts. We love you Steve. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block west of South Holly Street) in Centennial, Colorado 80122.
