Steve Benny Benoit, Jr.

Steve Benny Benoit, Jr., 73, of Arvada, Colorado passed away on July 7, 2016 at his home. Steve was born in Denver, Colorado on November, 13, 1942 to Ruby Rae Stemp & Steve Benny Benoit, Sr. At age 17, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he faithfully served his country for four years. On May 15, 1965, Steve married Mary Ursula Burke in Denver and they had two sons, Steve Benny Benoit, III & Michael Thomas Benoit. Steve was the owner of Denver's oldest locksmith company, Mathias Lock & Key, family owned and operated since 1901. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Mary Benoit (of Arvada); son, Steve Benny Benoit, III, daughter-in-law, Andrea Otero, and their children, Harrison, Henry & Hunter Benoit (of Arvada); son, Michael Benoit, and his children, MaryV & Kenta Benoit (of Denver). A Celebration of Steve's Life will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016, beginning at 3 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, CO 80003.
