Steve Lucent

Steve W. Lucent passed away on Dec 6, 2022. This unexpected loss has left family and friends deeply saddened.

Steve was born on Dec 1, 1977, in Pensacola FL. Steve graduated from Pine Forest high school, where he enjoyed playing the guitar and drums in the school band. He attended Pensacola State College while working for the firm Kerrigan Estess & Rankin managing their IT dept and then as an investigator. He then worked for ARC Gateway before moving to California where he was employed as an insurance adjuster for AAA. His career eventually brought him to Colorado where he worked for USAA, Frank Azar and most recently Travelers insurance.

Steve had a gift of making everyone feel like family. Everyone that knew Steve described him as kind, giving, funny, loving, caring, warm, and just wonderful. When he wasn’t spending time with family and friends, he loved restoring his treasured motorcycles, and working on his cars.

Steve is survived by his parents Barbara and Dana Lucent, his daughters Nicole Martin, Chloe (Paul) Garcia, his granddaughter Vita Garcia, his brothers Nick (Angie) Lucent, Luke (Lori) Lucent, Tony (Heather) Lucent, His nieces Kate & Alex Messitidis, Devereaux (Josh) Johansen, his grandmother Alice Francis Cook, his uncles Robert (Joni) Lucent, Bill Spivey Jr, David (Tracy) Spivey, his aunts Tracey (Kevin) Reynolds, Cathy Lucent, his great aunt Joyce German, his many cousins, his former wife Maureen Lucent, his former wife Tracy Lucent, the Brotherhood of the 74 MR, and a myriad of loving friends and colleagues. The family would also like to extend a special acknowledgment to close friend Kristen Franze.

He is truly missed.
