Suanne J. Carr

Suanne J. Carr, 78 of Centennial, Colorado passed away peacefully February 27, 2019. She was born on July 18, 1940 in Edgerton, Wyoming to William and Lillian Banish.

Suanne is survived by her husband: Clayton Carr, children: Steve (Debbie) Carr, Wendy (Sandon) Olson, Cheryl (Bill) Futera, Pam (Mike) Golden, grandchildren: Clayton Carr, Marcus Carr, Sandon (Meredith) Olson Jr, Brandy Olson, Corey Futera, Nate (Aubray) Futera, Kendra Futera, Jason (Carrie) Golden, Heather Golden, Nichole (Chris) Avery, Renae Golden, and Makayla Golden, 7 great-grandchildren, brother: Bob Banish, and many other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents: William and Lillian Banish, and siblings: Bill Banish and Mary Louise Harris.

Suanne graduated from Midwest High school and was married to Clayton for 63 years. After many years of volunteering at Porter Hospital she became the Director of Volunteers at Bethesda PsychHealth Hospital. In addition, she served as the President of Colorado Association of Hospital Auxillaries. Suanne was also a Co-owner of Clay's Texaco.

Suanne lead by great example with her numerous amounts of volunteer work. she truly enjoyed spending time with her family, watching sporting events and was always showing support to her home team by rooting for the Broncos.

In honor of Suanne, a Funeral Mass will be held 11:00AM, Thursday, March 14, 2019 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (8035 S Quebec St, Englewood, CO 80112). Reception to follow immediately after Mass.

In lieu of flowers, charitable donation may be made in Suanne’s honor to the Denver Zoo, or to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
