Suli Johnson

SuLi Johnson, a caring wife and mother, loving sister, and friend to all, died in Denver, Colorado on December 26, 2020, after fighting a courageous battle against cancer. She was 61 years old. She had a brave, bright, warm, and beautiful soul and was a huge foodie. She will be remembered for her kind, sociable demeanor, and her strength and determination to overcome any obstacle.

SuLi was born on October 12, 1959 in Keelung, Taiwan. She spent her childhood in Taipei, Taiwan before moving to Santa Cruz de la sierra, Bolivia where she graduated from high school. She then settled in Denver, Colorado. She acquired an associate’s degree in Applied Science, Microcomputer Specialist in 1993. SuLi held many roles in her life including Customer Services Representative, Mainframe Operator, Full-time Mother, Chinese Teacher, and Teacher’s Assistant. SuLi was a member of Phi-Theta Kappa, Colorado Chinese Language School, and Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.

Survivors include her spouse, Paul Johnson [Denver], her two daughters, Tiah Johnson [Seattle] and Talia Johnson [Denver], her sisters, An-Sheng Chang [Buenos Aires, Argentina], Jia Yu Chang [Caotun, Taiwan], and Sheau-Li Chang [Taipei, Taiwan], her brother, Zheng Ben Chang [Taipei, Taiwan], and many cousins, nieces, and nephews all over the world. SuLi was preceded in death by her father, Zhou Ren Chang, and her mother earlier this year, Wen-Fu Chang.

A Memorial Mass for SuLi will be held on Friday. November 5th, 2021 at 10:30am at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. A Reception will follow. Services will conclude with a Graveside Service at Chapel Hill Cemetery at 1:30pm.

我們至愛的家人張姝俐，與癌症奮鬥近一年，於主後二Ｏ二Ｏ年十二月廿六日科羅拉多州丹佛市蒙主恩召。享年六十一歲。

對身邊的人來說，姝俐是個非常照顧家人的妻子和母親，愛護兄姊的妹妹。好個性也讓她能和所有人成為朋友。她有個勇敢、溫暖、陽光、且美麗的靈魂，也是個熱愛美食的饕客。她善良親合的個性及面對任何困境時的堅毅與決心將永存於我們心中。

姝俐民國四十八年十月十二日出生於台灣基隆市。她的童年在台北長大，高中時搬到玻利維亞的聖克魯斯市就讀了兩年高校，於那裡的美國學校畢業。隨後即搬到了美國科羅拉多州的丹佛市，在1993年拿到了大專學歷專攻微電腦。姝俐一生中擔任過許多重責，包含客服代表、電腦操作員、全職媽媽、中文老師、及助手老師。姝俐也是 Phi-Theta-Kappa 榮譽學會、科羅拉多州中文語言學院、及丹佛寶血天主堂的成員之一。

姝俐還在世的親友有丈夫Paul Johnson [丹佛]，長女Tiah Johnson [西雅圖] 和次女Talia Johnson [丹佛]，一位哥哥和三位姊姊，及散布在世界各地的多位堂表親、外甥、外甥女和姪子姪女。 父親於她高中時逝世，母親於今年年中去世。

因全球疫情，目前姝俐許多親友無法前往參加葬禮，故姝俐的殯葬彌撒及追思彌撒將延期於丹佛舉行。待日期時間及其他細節確定後，將另行通知所有的親朋好友前往參加。

家屬也邀請親友將奠儀捐贈給姝俐表妹(Kerri Diamant)所創立的非營利基金會 Altermed Research Foundation，致力於研究替代性醫學。( https://www.altermedresearch.org )
