Susan Bobb

Susan Lynn Bobb, age 72, died in her home surrounded by family in Highlands Ranch, Colorado on May 26, 2022.  Susan was born in Omaha, Nebraska to her parents, William Roberts and Irene Davis.  She grew up with her brothers, Brad, Robin, Bill, Steve, and Oren, and her sister, Shelly, splitting her time between Omaha, Nebraska and Phoenix, Arizona.  Her stepmother, Shirley Roberts, and her stepfather, Gene Davis, were loving parents in addition to her father and mother.

She attended Arizona State University and completed her bachelor’s and master’s in arts degrees in primary education with an emphasis in gifted education.  She worked as a first and second grade teacher during the early parts of her life. She married her husband, Wayne Bobb, in 1970 and was blessed with three daughters.

Susan was known for her giving nature as she volunteered many hours throughout her life at the schools of her children, at her churches as a nursery director and religious education teacher, at the YMCA in the nursery, at Parkinson’s Disease support groups, and in countless other smaller roles that are far too numerous to list.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed crafting and traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wayne, her daughters, Jacque (Ryan), Katherine (Casey), and Jessica, and her six grandchildren.  Susan is preceded in death by her father, stepfather, grandmother, and grandson.

A funeral mass will take place at Pax Christi Catholic Church in Lone Tree, Colorado on June 9 at 11am.  Burial services will be held following the mass at Littleton Cemetery in Littleton.  A reception will follow at Pax Christi.
