Susan L. Brethauer

March 14, 1951 — December 27, 2011

Susan Lynn Brethauer was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 14, 1951. She passed away on December 27, 2011 after battling breast cancer for 2 years during which time she courageously fought the disease all the while continuing to work at Millennium Hotel and Resorts where she began her employment on February 6th, 2006. Susan nows sits in Heaven with her Father. Susan graduated from Parkway West High School in June 1969, in Ballwin, Missouri. Susan graduated from Meramec Junior College and finished her degree in Computers. On April 27, 1974, she married Glenn R. Brethauer, at St. John Lutheran Church, Ellisville, Missouri. On April 18, 1982, their son Jason Glenn Getman Brethauer was born, the light of their lives. Her father, Ronald Getman past away on March 13, 1996, her mother Julia Getman (Trudy) survives along with her brother Randall W. Getman. Her brother's daughters, Bree Burns and Samatha Getman are also surviving. Susan was an adoring and devoted daughter, sister, wife, and aunt. She was a loving and exemplary mother beloved by all her friends. Susan gave freely of her heart, and her resources, though refused any acknowledgment of her numerous charitable acts. Susan harbored great love for the USA. Her patriotism continued throughout her life. Susan's many friends, from all walks of life, would all say that she was a truly remarkable woman, with no pretenses. ""What you see is what you get.""
