Susan Duncan

Susan Duncan passed on June 1^st at the age of 88. She lived a fulfilling, active life with the support of a loving family, engaging with endless volunteer activities, a variety of world travels, a love for sports, and countless friends. Sue and her husband, Jim (passed), had 6 children, 7 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Susan's strongest strengths were her hard work ethic, honesty, and encouragement as she helped others. She relished interacting with and assisting service groups, volunteering for numerous organizations including the YMCA, Iliff School of Theology, Gamma Phi Sorority, Colorado College, and PEO, all high on her list. She was honored by having the Arvada YMCA named after her.

Susan enjoyed watching and participating in a variety of sports, playing golf and tennis throughout her life, even scoring a hole-in-one at the age of 77. She was an avid Denver Bronco fan and would attend games as a season-ticket holder, or sit glued to the game on TV. She also started a youth sports league, providing joy and character-building opportunities for hundreds of kids.

Always involved socially, Mom loved time with her friends, participating in a variety of bridge groups whenever possible. With all the people she met in life, Mom gave so much of herself, always kind, witty, humble, encouraging, supportive, and so much more. She will be dearly missed by all, yet it's so comforting to know that she has joined ""TEAM HEAVEN"" and will be there for eternity.
