Susan Parker

Susan (Eickhoff) Parker: 53, passed away Wednesday, November 4th, 2015 after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Clotilda and Raymond Eickhoff. Sue is survived by her husband, Neil, and two daughters, Chelsea and Brooke, of Denver, CO. She is also survived by her father of Albany, siblings Roger (Ruth) St Joseph, MN, Jan (Leon) Schilmoeller, Cottage Grove, MN, Ken (Kitty) Albany, MN, Gary (Sandy) Farming, MN and Linda (Brian) Johnson, St Joseph, MN and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother in 2012 and sister Judy in 1972. Sue was a substance abuse counselor in Denver, Colorado where she owned her own business, New Journey to Wellness. She and Neil were married for 32 years and lived life to the fullest. Sue had an inspiring attitude throughout her cancer treatment and dedicated her life to helping others. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved hiking in the mountains of Colorado and the woods of Minnesota. She was dearly loved by all and will be greatly missed. Services will be Friday, November 13th at 10:00 AM at Southeast Community Church, located at 9650 Jordan Road, Parker, Colorado 80134. There will be another service in Minnesota, details will be provided as they are available. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to metavivor.org or the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation in Sue's honor. Both organizations do important research to find a cure for the specific type of cancer Sue was diagnosed with.
