Susann (Sue) Blair

Susann (Sue) Margaret Blair, beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister, Wife/Widow, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a 5-year gradual decline from Dementia on August 27, 2022 at the age of 79 in Denver, Colorado.

Born on March 27, 1943 in San Diego, California, she was known to friends, co-workers and family as a pioneering and ambitious business woman, athlete, dog & cat lover, world traveler, new car enthusiast, people watcher, and a sharp woman with a witty sense of humor.

She is survived by her Daughter (Kerry Karle), Son-in-law (Kendall Karle), Grandson (Kaiden Karle), and Brother (Robert Smith).

Sue was one of a kind, and her ambitions knew no bounds.

She was an accomplished Arabian horse showman, played college tennis at San Diego State University, held leadership positions at the City of San Diego, Water Authority, CA State Government, UCSD and retired from SDSU in Human Resources.

She will be deeply missed.
